FLAVOR PROFILE

This is a medium-roast blend designed to ease you into your morning.  It is the same coffee blend we use in our espresso blend, but is roasted to be brewed as filter/drip coffee.  Our goal was to create a well-developed medium roast blend that was more traditional in flavor and also had high amounts of sweetness, lower acidity, and a heavier body.  To us, this coffee has notes of dark chocolate, sugar cane, and caramel.

RECOMMENDED BREWING METHODS

This coffee is great brewed as cold brew and filter/drip coffee.  For filter coffee, we would recommend starting with a water temperature between 200-205F and a 1:15 ratio (e.g., 13 grams off coffee to 200 grams of water) but experimenting with the ratio to find the strength you prefer.  If the coffee tastes bitter and over extracted, 1) coarsen up the grind size, 2) gradually decrease the water temperature, and/or 3) increase the amount of ground coffee or decrease the amount of water used.
