One product page for all K-Cups

In the past, K-Cups were part of a drop down menu for each coffee we offered.  Alaska law has now changed and allows us as a home-based business to ship within Alaska.  To simplify shipping integration into our website for K-Cups, we have found that creating one page for all K-Cups is the easiest solution.

Interested in a variety of K-Cups?

In 2022, we have received a lot of positive feedback regarding our offering of a variety of individual K-Cups for customers to choose from at local farmer’s markets rather having to purchase an entire box of K-Cups of one type of coffee.  We now want to try to incorporate this offering on our website, but it will require a bit of flexibility on everyone’s part to make it work as we don’t currently keep a regular inventory of roasted coffee on hand.  We do, however, often have smaller amounts of various roasted coffees on hand that are left over from roasting orders that come in throughout the week.  The quantities are often too small to fill an 8-16 ounce bag, but more than enough to make into a number of K-Cups.   Our goal with the offering is to encourage coffee exploration.

BREWING RECOMMENDATIONS

All of our K-Cups are dialed in using the eight-ounce brew button to result in a cup of coffee that is as good as high quality drip or filter coffee.  If your K-Cup machine allows for experimentation with the water temperature, we would recommend experimenting with a range of water temperatures to bring out various nuances to this coffee to find your preference.  To our surprise and somewhat counterintuitive, we have consistently found that lower brewing temperatures on K-Cup machines have allowed us to obtain better flavors regardless of roast level.   If the coffee tastes bitter, try 1) lower the water temperature and 2) using a brew button that brews a smaller volume.  If the coffee tastes sour, try 1) increasing the water temperature and 2) using a brew button that brews a larger volume.  We also recommend allowing the coffee to cool some before drinking as it consistently results in improved flavor experiences regardless of the brewing method.
