Please note: Alaska’s Cottage Food Laws requires in person delivery of roasted coffee.  If you live outside Ketchikan, please wait to place an order until you are traveling through Ketchikan.  We offer free local delivery.

Our goal is to roast coffee within 24 hours of your order being placed.  If you need coffee sooner than this, please contact us to ensure we can complete the order in the time frame you need.  Please take a look at https://ketchcoffee.com/can-coffee-be-too-fresh/ to gauge how much in advance you should order your coffee as coffee should be allowed to rest prior to drinking it for optimal flavor experience.

If you need coffee vacuum sealed or are purchasing the disposable hanging brewers, we recommend ordering 3-7 days in advance of when you need the coffee depending on the roast level.  Darker roasts can be vacuum sealed on day three, medium roasts on day five, and light roasts on day seven.  We primarily roast only when orders are placed to maximize freshness.  Freshly roasted coffee needs resting time to release CO2 before it is ready to drink and before being vacuum sealed.  Otherwise, as the coffee releases CO2 it will inflate the bag and can potentially cause the bag to burst.  If you need coffee sooner than this, please check with us to see if we have roasted coffee available that is ready to be vacuum sealed.    

If you are tax exempt, please provide your tax exempt number in the notes section of the order form and select payment in person.  We will collect the payment upon delivery with either cash or credit card, and will have you sign the Ketchikan Gateway Borough tax exempt sales form.
